So. I havent been posting. Ive been back on plan for three days. Somehow two slices of pizza made me gain 4 pounds. Ive been guzzling water staying low carb and still get my daily steps in. Today I woke up 0.4 pounds heavier than yesterday. Im very frustrated. No beyond that. Im mad. I dont know what the issue is. I have some errands today so Im going to fast as long as possible. Then Ill have a protein shake. Ill only drink water. Im also going to workout at the gym and later in the pool. As you can probably tell by now I’m constantly learning whether it be about keto dietary guidelines and in this instance intermittent fasting. I have never been the type to eat bfast in the morning and typically keep my meals between 12pm and 8pm. I eat two meals a day and if I’m hungry between meals I listen to my body and snack. So I eat within the 8 hr window and fast for 16hrs and stay hydrated. It naturally fit into my lifestyle. Some additional benefits of Intermittent fasting includes making you more productive reduces your glucose/sugar levels helps eliminate waste from the body and lower inflammation helps unleash the power of growth hormone(GH) which incinerates your fat and denies fat cells from ever forming. Growth hormone also helps you build muscle and helps make you look younger. 35 lbs weight loss in less than 4 months. Im finally back to 32 waist and the weight that I was when I first moved to South Florida in August 2008. Its not been easy and my goal is 175 with 30 waist by my 54 birthday on October 29. . Losing weight has never been easy for me Ive been fat most of my life. My heaviest was 239 in 2014 and in April of this year I got diagnosed as pre-diabetic and that was enough to push me to never get that heavy again. . How did I do this? Intermittent fasting on a 20/4 schedule daily with one cheat meal a week. No sugar low carbs high fat moderate protein. Mostly avocado nuts seeds tons of leafy greens and small amounts of olive and coconut oil. I eat 2 small meals a day at 10am and 2pm and no food all other times even if I am hungry. . I check my blood sugar first thing in the morning every morning to make sure it stays below 80. I monitor blood pressure body fat and weight daily to make sure Im not losing muscle mass only fat. So far Im from 26% bf to...
